There were two basic ways to capture Wonder Woman. The first and most
risky was to try and render her unconscious but if you missed that vulnerable
spot at the base of her skull or she didn't inhale the sleeping gas you were
in trouble. It was far easier to grab her friends as hostages and threaten to
kill them as Wonder Woman wasn't much on hostage negotiations.
Of course it didn't pay to let your guard down once you had her
When I think of Wonder Woman I wonder why she let Etta Candy and the Halliday
girls hang around with her? They caused far more trouble than they solved
and every badguy soon figured out that if you grabbed them Wonder Woman
would surrender. Case in point from "When Treachery Wore a Green Shirt!"
